1.2 If you have any questions about how Vic Energy Ltd processes your personal data or want information about contact details for the designated data protection officer/person responsible for personal data matters in any of the companies belonging to the group of Victor Energy companies, owned and controlled by Vic Energy LTD, please contact us by e-mail: privacy@victorenergy.com 

1.3 Your personal data is processed for the purpose of:

    • providing commercial information related to the conducted business activity (Article 6 par. 1 item a GDPR);
    • communication with persons interested in our business activity, including responding to messages sent to the Data Controller based on the legitimate interest pursued by the Data Controller (article 6 par. 1 item f GDPR), exchanging any correspondence related to the conducted business activity, as well as keeping in contact with potential business partners, clients, customers and other third parties with the use of electronic mail;
    • meeting legal obligations to which the Data Controller is subject on the basis of generally applicable legal regulations, including tax and accounting regulations (Art. 6 par. 1 item c GDPR);
    • archiving materials, correspondence and any communications created by the Data Controller as part of its business activity for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller (article 6 par. 1 item f GDPR);
    • in order to implement the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, consisting in possible determination or pursuit of claims or defense against claims, based on the legitimate interest pursued by the Data Controller.

 

1.4 The recipients of your personal data may be Data Controller’s employees, only within their job duties and on the basis of the authorization, and entities cooperating with the Data Controller based on concluded agreements. In particular, personal data may be made available to entities providing IT support to the Data Controller, including those operating and maintaining IT systems and providing data hosting or cloud services; electronic mail service providers; entities archiving and shredding documents; post operators or couriers; consulting companies cooperating with the Data Controller. Moreover, personal data may be shared with public authorities or public entities (or those performing public tasks) authorized to receive data under applicable legal provisions.

1.5 Your personal data may be provided outside the European Economic Area. However, in case of any transfer of personal data outside the EEA, which may take place for example in relation to IT services or solutions used by the Data Controller, based on cloud solutions (cloud-based services) located outside the EEA, the Data Controller shall put in place appropriate safeguards and apply a lawful data transfer mechanism that will legalize any such transfer under the European legislation and will guarantee an adequate level of personal data protection. 

1.6 Your personal data will be stored for a period necessary to handle your inquiry and for 12 months thereafter for archiving purposes only.

1.7 You have the right of personal data access, personal data rectification or erasure, restriction of personal data processing, the right to transfer personal data, the right to object to the processing of the personal data, as well as the right to revoke your consent to the data processing at any time.

1.8 These rights may be exercised by making a respective demand to the Data Controller to the email address indicated in point 1.2 above.

1.9 You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

1.10 You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, in particular in the country of the data subjects’ habitual residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

1.11 Providing your personal data by you is fully voluntary, however it is necessary to exchange any communications or correspondence with the Data Controller.

1.12 Personal data processed for the purposes described herein will not be subject to profiling and no automated decision-making will take place with respect to the data subjects.

 

SECTION 2: USE OF COOKIES

2.1 Victor Energy does not directly create or issue cookies on www.victorenergy.com for advertising, data collection, or for any purpose which personally identify individuals.

Due to the above, we may collect your first and last name, telephone #, email address, company name and your job position, when you decide to communicate with Victor Energy, e.g. to request information about Victor Energy to be sent to you.

We retain information as long as it is necessary to provide the services requested by you and others, subject to any legal obligations to further retain such information or until you request of us to delete it Additionally, we may retain information to comply with the law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce the Terms of Use, and take other actions permitted by law. The information we retain will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your information is never shared outside the group of Victor Energy companies (Vic Energy Ltd and the companies owned and controlled by Vic Energy Ltd), without your permission. Inside the Victor Energy companies, data is stored behind firewalls on secure servers with restricted user access.
